No, it comes with 2 light springs I believe, I used the Mr. Gasket kit.

Use just 1 light spring and keep the other stock. The dist has 2 springs on the weights. Just change 1 and see if it pings afterwards. If not after a few weeks you might want to try both light springs but not sure with only a 3.55 gear. Think maybe not, thats more for a 3.91 or 4.10 gears unless the compression is low, like 8 to 1.

Better to have too strong of springs than too weak, pinging can kill a motor.

Yep, looks like it but sure the Mopar one is as good or better. It just what brand the store had at the time.

Those springs are very thin and do sometimes break a few years later on. They can be a little tricky to change. Get a good pair of needle nose plairs and take your time. Its easier to change it with the dist out but can be done in, if you done it before and can lean over good. Its getting the light spring over both the posts, might need a fine small screw driver to help push it over the post.
