    Cudagirl - the reason your LEDs did not flash is they draw less current than the standard incandescent bulbs. The extra current is needed to make the flasher work as it works on a current draw (makes heat) thing. Use an electronic flasher unit that plugs straight into the old connector for the existing flasher. Someone mentioned the electronic unit here in this thread.

    It is a 4 pin flasher in my car i dont see any on any site i need to know where to get one.

    Working on motorcycles I've swapped bunches of lights with LED's. The easiest way I've overcome the slow or no blinking issue was to replace the stock flasher relay with a Tridon (brand) EL-12 (model#) flasher. They're available at most auto parts chain stores. It's a completely digital relay and is not load dependant. :2cents:

    yup - lemme know if anyone trys this. I still am thinking you will need one that has LED's on the top and sides for full illumination.

    flashers are 2 pin not 4 the 4 pin is something else like the horn relay

    Like I said. Been there, done that. 360* LED bulbs here ---> http://superlumination.com/194.htm

    I've used this style of LED's on a number of projects no problemo. Shop around the site, I know they have some with the 1156 and 1157 style sockets in there. You might even be able to find the small dash bulbs as well if you want.

    The EL-12 flasher relay is a 2 pronger BTW.
