The original owner of my cuda!!!
« on: November 05, 2007 - 01:02:51 PM »
It was such a nice day yesterday, I decided to take a cruise in the car and went to Milford to see Virginia, the original owner that bought my car new June 15th, 1971 from Herpolshiemers in Seward.  Took a few pics and tried to get her to remember her car from some old pics and stuff.  Alzheimers is a terrible disease.  It was nice to get her outside and take a few pics of her with her old car.  Here is one.

That is so cool of you to go see the lady who owned your car.  You must have made her day!   :clapping:

I am the second owner of the car.  I bought it from her in 1998.  She did remember the car a little when I showed her some pictures of her in it in the early 80's.  But about 2 minutes later she forgot again.   :-\

That was a really cool thing to do imo. That last picture should serve to remind us all just how fast time flies.

What a kind gesture that was for you to do for her!  It's too bad that we have to get older.  I personally plan to fight it every step of the way!
