Big Lots Air Tools

There are a boat load of air tools on sale at Big Lots this week.  Is there any way these are quality, worthwhile tools, or should I look elsewhere?

Most of the Big Lots & Harbor Freight products are about as bottom of the line as you can get

Thanks, Bullitt. That's about what I figured.  I generally ignore HArbor Freight and Big Lots and cheap tools in general. About 25 years ago, however, I bought a $20 set of Chinese combo wrenches that I've never been able to break. I used one of the with a 6 foot length of pipe as a breaker bar to take off a k-frame, and it bent a little, but I'm still using it.

I guess that when it comes to cheap tools it's a crap shoot with the odds stacked against you, but every once in a while ...

I have a bunch of BUFFALO air tools. These are a cheap brand like anything else. Inline sander, air ratchet, air chisel, etc and now have Harbor freights Die grinder, angle grinder, D-A. sander, couplers, compressor twin cylinder pump, stud welder, butt clamps welding wire etc, etc etc.  If you don't have a pro shop and want to save money, get them.  If they break, buy a new one then stick the old one in the new box and return it.  The only one that broke in 25 years was a D-A sander that broke it's on/off air valve after about 7 years.
