Does anyone know the color the heat shield should be on a 73 340 Cuda?

If you are referring to the muffler heat shield the color is silver...probably zinc coated

the New Mopar ones come semigloss black But seeing as they were on the engine with the manifolds when they were painted I would think they would be engine color which is typically what I have seen

They are at the powdercoaters.Any harm in having them powdercoated first and then painting them with blue engine paint?
