That sounds like FUN.  I love driving mine too. I drove it about 10,000 miles last year hitting the shows. Have fun.

The price of gas is helping me drop my pistol grip.  I had my car out twice today and burned uo another $25 in gas at $4.29 a gallon.  I decided that I didn't want to stop at the gas station again a 2nd time today, so I put the car away.

25 bucks???   that's nothing. I got a 200.00 + a week habit. When it reaches 10 bucks a gallon I'll still be driving it.I worked way to hard on this to just stand there and look at it.Not that I mind standing there and looking at it. ::)  Last nite a kid in a '68 Kamero decided he wanted a piece of it.We were up in a canyon. I toyed with him for a few,Then let her go... he was gone. I know the roads so well he didn't really have a chance. With 15" wheels he was done. baby's first kill was a delight for papa.  I waited for him later. A 400 h.p. 350 4 speed. crushed by a Mopar up in the canyons. It was sweeeet.

I wish I could cruise with at least $200 in gas, but I'm building my cuda and Chally vert right now so I'm trying to save the money for parts.  If I find and SPARE money, line a bag falling out of an armored car, I 'll be cruising right next to you all day long.
Have Fun,
Rob

I wasn't sure where to post this...  I figured you guys in the resto threads would get a kick out of this.Since so many of you helped me out so much.   Yesterday I won an award at a car show. A foster home picked one kid to select a car. He chose mine. I was floored! Out of 250 cars the kid liked mine the best. It just blew me away. There were many cars nicer than mine there. Just my day I guess. I've showed this thing a few times. And everytime it's alot of fun! People notice the front end suspension and :clueless:  Then they get down on there knees to check it out.I need to get a little rug. :icon16:  THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!   This one was for you! :drunk:

Glad to hear you're having a blast. Congrats.  :2thumbs:

When my car was running...(about 4 years ago) I would be used to driving my 5 speed truck alot. It was my daily driver. Then when I got in the cuda on the freeway cruising in 4th, on a rare occasion, I would try to go into 5th gear.

Problem was; there wasn't one.  :banghead:

I would really like to hit that 5th and hear that engine run in the RPM's they like at high speed.
