Ya! Thanks!!   :ylsuper:     So I've been busy. Had to do something. Atleast it will be shiney. Just from the middle body line down. Mayby sand/buff the rest. Wait for next winter to spray it all. Spending alot of time on the valences too. WoW were they bad!When the brakes come I'll get it down on the ground. If it's driving I might take it over to a friends booth.    Can't wait for this thing to be back on the streets.It's been really nice out. The /6 Duster is slow. :misbehaving:      If my exhaust doesn't fit I'll put some mesh in the holes.I'm dreaming of custom stainless headers/exhaust running in the rocker with a frenched tip.(?) :dunno:  For now it's going to dump right before the axle.

It will be interesting to see how you go with your exhaust Robert :2thumbs: why not do a smooth rear valance without the cut out in red just incase the side cutouts workout real good  :dunno: :bananasmi

Years ago on my 340 duster I had the exhaust dumping down just ahead of the rear axle.   It worked ok, but the sound sort of bounced between the road and the underside of the car.   Made for extra noise.   It was real quiet when you drove across a bridge with the steel grate decking.  :grinyes:

If you've got questions, still, about the AlterK, register over at BigBlockDart.com; Bill  runs the place over there as well, and frequently posts.

Maybe the suggestion is a bit late in the game, but I just got caught up on your build.

Looking to put the AlterK in myself (mine has the Willwoods).

Had to pull everything,pull the diff. to get the spacers out to run these new 1 piece axel bearings. Then get it all back together and installed again. Line everything up,measure,then measure again. Adjust,measure,ect...    after it was all set I tacked it in.Moved it up and down,Checked it all again. Decided to weld it up.   Adjusted the pinion again afterwards.Not much.   Put the shocks on,Jacked it up.Measured,Adjusted the shocks,measured...    :blah:   This is how it sits on it's own weight. Everything looks aligned to me.    Just wish I had those rear discs.Don't have the cash yet.  Going to take the line tabs off the axel.Thinking of custom bending some for each side along the frame. Cleaning up the look.   

This is my DH race bike. Custom suspension,And linkage. Custom shocks,tuning are nothing new to me.

I get better answers to my questions here.  Thanks.   I just can't afford a new rear valence yet.Going to shave the bumperettes too. Probably the markers and handles as well. I like that exhaust Scott. Think I might give it a try when I can swing it. Side exit would be cool.     Just about ready to prime the pass side. Have to shoot both valences again.  Guess I'll start bending up brake lines and toss the interior back in. Looks like I won't be able to afford that dash pad group buy    again.   :walkaway:      I'll get there. Always pushing the limits. And I just have to come up with the cash for glass too!    That's why I'm not doing the whole paint job now.

Still messn' around.  Not much going my way these days. Getting closer. Still can't spin it around to shoot the passenger side. Brake lines are almost there. Not happy with them yet.Still tweaking. Not sure on the fuel line...thinking of just running that pro-flow 350 braided hose . Any thoughts?  JB weld saved the fuel sender again. Hopeing it makes it through the summer.     Sure is an addiction. This is the only place I can go and not be looked at as a fruitcake.  :icon16:

For Fuel lines, I use 3/8 brake lines for the supply side and 5/16 for the return side. Already straight and ready to bend. Ends on them already or easy to double flare to redo them. You can also buy brass adapters to fit fuel filters or barbed ends.

I gave up on my tube bending skilles and went the braided hose rout for my fuel lines it was a lot less stress.

Is there a slot in the back of your frame by the gas tank about 2 to 3 inches long?
You could run the lines through there instead of under the frame.  :bigsmile:
