Ya'    He/We like the 68's too    this just "happened"   Still not sure if I'm awake. someone pinch me.   Am I dreamn'  ?

We were using my wheels off the 'cuda to check spacings for new wheels. They look cool though.  I'm getting 11" wheels on the back of the 'cuda,The rears are going on the front. What's the biggest rubber i can get on 11's?      So...   LOTS going on around here!!   Been driving the 'cuda some...  it rains everyday. Put rubber down in 3rd gear the other nite... Never done that.  :burnout:     She's pretty fast. For a street car. Still tuning the suspension.Just got the brakes dialed. Fixing little things. Rattles.  Nothin' major.  Sure is nice!!  Work on 'em in the winter...  Drive 'em in the summer.     It was soooo   worth it!!!     Still some new plans for her...  Never stops!     Thinking new safety green flourescent on the tips of the spoilers/mirrors.Like F1   We did some tests...   Looked pretty eye shocking !!

So the other day i woke up and got under the car just to look around. As usual. Then my eyes fell on the crossmember. Then the thought of... Mayby i should put a spacer under the back of the trans.  See if it helps that vibration.  Guess what?   It did!!  Duh!  Can't believe I didn't get it sooner. It's allowed me to get her up to 100 m.p.h.!!  That 5th speed is somethin'!     I'm getting all my stuff out of the house now... House sitting for a previous client. They come back for 1 month a year. Still working on getting a shop space. I think we have one picked out.Was a big auto glass place.

It rained on the 4th. making the cruise smaller. But still fun.We are getting quite a lineup!   Putting the miles on her still. Even more now with a smoother ride.

As for the Charger...    My bro came in the other day...  " We could hemi daytona clone it for 30K."               That would be cool. For now,Just having to handcuff myself to keep from gutting it. Fixed the fuel sender.Needed a new tank seal. Got some used headers.Elec. ignition Wed.! Then emissions/plates !   Still deciding on wheels. Going to have to get a resto. thread going for it someday. The Duster is getting jealous. I spend most of my time working on friends cars now. Too much going on. As usual.       Waiting on some inspections for this basement remodel we're on now.(framing, shower pan)        Should have drove da' 'cuda.  I just want to drive it all the time now. :bricks1:   :1zhelp:

time fer an update...    Not much.   I've been driving it every day. It's my therapy.Driving this car up in the canyons is where I belong. Left an audi a4 somewhere up there. This thing is fast. Not many follow her. I keep having this recurring dream of a 5.7 L with one of those new superchargers. It's been running hot so I finally choked up some cash for an alum. rad.! Been talkin' about that for a long time! Had to get around the alterkation,So my choices were limited.Got a BC downflow. It fit like a glove!  I was VERY skeptical of seeing any cooling gains. But had to try. To my amazement... Can't get her even up to 190* now!!  WOW!! It was up over 200 before. And I tried! Very impressed! Although the rough cuts on the sides of the rad. are tacky for that amount of money.  And playing with the AAR logos. Not sure.

Can't believe this car is mine.   Am I dreaming?      R/T

So... I've been driving so much. The pistol grip became imbedded in my hand.Had to have it surgically removed. Then I had to get another pistol grip! :banghead:

I'm planning this winters festivities.Looking for advice.

#1 EFI six barrel (like 2800 +/-)  costly but slick

#2 Try for new quarters,R. valence.Have to wait for paint/glass. (big job,But I'll have the time)

#3 New dash/gauges  Windshield.(Have to paint in the channel/buff out across roof)

#4 Electric W/P, F/P.Custom low mount Alt.,New switches for all.New complete wiring harness.( I HATE electrical)

#5 New oval side exit exhaust. With new custom frame connecters.

#6 Start saving money you dumass!!!

I guess I should explain something... 2.3 yrs. ago I was offered a rent free house-sitting gig.2 car garage. I decided to put everything I had into the car.It shows. But I can't say for sure how long this will last. It's good until August So... Look at what I've done so far. I'm pretty motivated. been trying to get to the paint but there's always something else. My list is L O N G even still. The guys here...Some of the cars here. Are just figgn' AMAZING!  I'm nothing compared to a lot of you guys. Your cars are over the top.  What would you do if you were me?  say the budget is 3-4K TOPS.
Just some of my ideas. Cash is always the limiting factor. I'll get it.I always do somehow.   This has been such a long strange trip so far. I wasn't even supposed to have this car.Now it's way more than I could have ever dreamed. That's why it's called the dream 'cuda.   I've been lurking around the restos. section.   Thanx for all the inspiration out there. It does not go un-noticed. This place is the best. I finally got internet. So I may be around more. Besides.I miss it here at CC.c.

Or maybe a steering column too...   New glass...  a fender , led's halos... custom chrome bumpers.Shave       clickers              ahhhhhhh :bricks1:

Defintely post your low-mount alternator mod.  I see Billet Specialties moves the alternator to the other side on their drive set-up.  Thinking about anything like that??

Boy Robert that’s a tuff one you already have a killer motor with a 5 speed & Killer suspension.
I don’t think your interior is all that bad your paint looks pretty good….

The EFI setup sounds interesting with a serpentine belt conversion for the front of the motor.
 :2cents:
Do you have a link to the kit your thinking of?

I tried getting pics. It's the F&B one.  Thinking of that exhaust you showed me Scott. The paint is crap,But I can live another year. The low mount alt. Is all custom. I'd like to run it off the driveshaft. And have no belts or pulleys. That would be cool. But it's probably going pass. side,Low. I have been considering a power rack.But...    So many ideas. These last two yrs. have been huge. Looking to keep it going.   The EFI set-up seems to fit the build. The look,The theme.      maybe new rear wheels... Tires all around.   Or an electric brake booster,Hydro. clutch, Hmmmm    You guys got so many cool ideas here!!  I'm all over this place. Lot's of inspiration.
