As usual. CC.c  telling' like it iZ!  Ya I know.  Shoulda bought a tube chassis race car with a fiberglass body of a cuda.   So I've decided to take it out and move on.  And the last two days have brought the wiring system up and real close to complete. I'm real excited about that!!  The lights are amazing!!  I'll get a video.   Gotta spend some real time up front in the engine bay and get that as done as I can before those fenders go on. Finally decided on fasteners there. Got them ready. Lotsa little things.   I'm tempted to get "the stripe" soon.     And I can't decide on wheels. As usual.   Now I'm lean in' towards powder coating the V48's gloss black and painting the spokes satin.  Get some 11"s out back.   The brakes are not big enough.  I'll hafta upgrade after I win the lotto er something'. So sticking' with the 17's might be better.  bla bla.   The wheels make em er brake em to me. no way can I swing the forgelines.    Little by little I'm gettn' there!!!   Lemme button her up and get sum fresh pix too…    :working:   Oh… And thanks for the honesty to all!!!

Pretty sure you have enough overall bracing on that car...  That engine bay brace looks very nice, who makes it?

That was my very first welding project ha.   :poopoke:

So, Been really stacking up the hours on this thing. All over the place. It's crazy!  The wiring is technically nearing completion. Cleaning, straightening,Loom away.
Every single light is custom. Every button.  Got new 70 mirrors now with 5mm amber leds. Got a new header panel,So it's time for the hood. And some satin.  Pedals are complete,Brakes are close. Changed my mind again. No hydro.  so forgot the adapter plate.  Fuel done.  Need coolant and then to push the button!!   Butt still waitn on that damn exhaust!!  So I'm about to re-du the top of the hump quick. And move the frame connectors up whilst i await.    Eh new pistol grip. Just for fun we wired up the button on the stick as the starter.  Lets me decide how long to crank instead of a timer.   About to send rims n goodies off to powder.   Hammer down here.  A long way to go for one guy,But I got a chance of making my may 31st cruize date.     :working:   R/T

ya I'll post up an update. Sorry for the bad pix. Turns out while wrestling the trans in I tipped it too far back and dumped a little fluid out. Ended up gettn my phone in it a little. Has a good case butt.   :-\

Couldn't take them hoopty frame connectors anymore. So got at slipping them up into the frame like most.  Works great! Super stuff.  A bit time consuming but worth the effort for the clearance for sure.  Really like the clean look on the bottom.  Electrical system is fully operational now. Got a cool dome light and an auto dimming circuit.  So onto the headliner!!      Decided to run one more wire up front for custom fog lights on the edges of the front valance insert. (70)  Cleaning stuff up under the dash.  So just playing with it now.  And all the fasteners for the other fender to go on. Finally went with all-star billet countersunk washers.  Jegs.  I like them.  Couldn't justify the ring bros. price and wanted a subtle look.  Brakes are 2 fittings away. I finally got the rear brake line in through the frame connector too!  Went with AN stuff to make it easy.    Considering a carbon hood and rear spoiler. Any thoughts?  Probably end up AAR fiberglass/Ring bros. hinges.  And those slick trunk hinges from johns cuda shop!   Too cool!        I can see the light!!

Little by little.   Wiper motor is toast.  Hafta set that aside for a few.  Gettn the itch to fire her up!! Called on exhaust,They are on spring break. About to give up on em and go elsewhere.  There's a good local shop right down the street,He's into mopars. And does a nice X-pipe. So,I'll stop by and get a quick quote. Hopefully the garbage pickers didn't steal my old system I stashed out back! might toss it on quick.       So yeah brakes are 1 fitting away now. ha.  Be drilling holes for the rear spoiler.  Always freaks me out a little.  Did the pass. mirror today, Was a tedious couple minutes there! Had to file a slot for the  2-wire insulated connector to slip in.   Gettn goin on that headliner now, Dash pad should be close.     nice header panel showed up real quick from Roseville!  Got the supports and that in primer.  Now where's that stainless trim at?  Gonna be a fun weekend around here!    :working:   R/T

Finally got that other fender on! Still workn that header. It's the subtle things. Brakes are complete.   Turns out my mechanic friend has a glass/headliner guy. Reasonable price for what he was telling me. Their work looked good. They did his dart drag car recently and I poked around a little.  Hard not to want to do it myself,But I'd never do my F/R glass. And this seems like a good place to maybe "splurge" and source it out with the glass.  My fears over the garbage pickers was confirmed today by my missing old exhaust system!!!   Grrr.     All in all a good weekend here.  Nice to see it come together.  Can't wait for that stripe!!  It's all in the stripE!!
