Sorry for your loss.

for your motor quandry, i personally would try to catch one in a junkyard for a smashed rear end or something. that 6.4 with a kenny bell supercharger is putting out hellcat type numbers...no way it's worth 18k from chrysler though...i was wanting one for my challenger but like you said the price tag is huge on that one. that motor in something much lighter than the current gen challengers should be a pretty stout combo.

yea, I know Brad.      Thank you all.  He's closer to me now than ever I guess.

I sound like a broken record on the hemi. Sorry.  don't know what I'm gonna do yet.  Definitely a whole new complete rear axel first.   Big question is mini-tubs ?  is it worth the work?  probably.   Might as well move the lower links inward too.  Means 2 new rims/tires out back.  315's on the 11" v48 rims.  Or a whole new setup?   for 335's   Uhg.

Might just get a complete axel for now and Get it in there.  Shorten it after the tubs. Ect.    Be cruising tomorrow.

Found this at the dealer.   It's an auto with paddles. Having a hard time giving up the stick.  Thoughts?

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dad.   Someone I work with made the comment that losing a parent is like getting a membership card that most everyone gets but no one wants.   It sounds like you have a lot of great memories to carry with you going forward.

Sorry about loosing your Dad. I lost my Mom a year and half ago and my dad is in failing health.  It's a tough pill to swallow but one we must all go through unfortunately.  Pics of the car look fantastic BTW.  :2thumbs:
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda.  Matching numbers 440 U Code, 4 speed pistol grip, Rallye dash, AM 8 Track, Shaker hood, 15 inch rallye wheels, Dana 60 4.10, Super Track Pak.  One of 134 - 440 "U" coupes codes built in 1970 and one of 100 - 440 Super Track Paks built in 1970.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

I have read the entire thread but did not see you mention where you got the sick shaved door handles. Can you share the manufacturer info? Thanks

Dan

sigh yea I know.  Be headn to see mom soon as i can.  She's down in FLA.    Wishn I could bring the car!

Surprised nobody has asked about them here! Guess most know.
Handles are KinDig. My car was directly across from him at Adams car care during the good guys show here. I got to talk with him briefly.

Told him I used his handles on my car. He asked which one it was,I said the black cuda.  His eyes lit up and said OH YEAH I've seen it!!  His reaction was priceless. Meant a lot.   And I promptly said OK see ya later.   He had the blue ford pickup truck. Truck of the year!  Thing was crazy.

They are expensive. And tedious to install.  Come in 3 styles and each is chrome or paintable.   Anyone can shave a handle,I wanted to do something special there because the factory were so new for their time.  Lot's of people comment on them.

been tough. lost my best friend and long time companion PharaoH sun.  Devastated to say the least.  He went everywhere with me. Everyday.   Before the recent resto. on the cuda he'd always come with to cruises and shows.    An epic loss.       Best dog in the world.  Been through too much lately. just too much.

was bad.   I'm hurtn.      He'll always be with me.    Loved that dog with every fiber of my soul.  he will be missed dearly.    If you have a pet,Please give them a hug for me.

finally came up with some lights for the tips of the front frames:

looking for something nice that kinduv resembles the road lamps but tucked away more.

I've been looking for 8 spoke wheels.  If you don't mind, what brand and size are yours? I'm looking for silver or chrome.

Wow your having a rough go of it lately . I feel for ya, love my dogs to death too, almost like another kid. One of mine is getting older and I shudder to think of losing him. Unconditional love, too bad us people can't learn a thing of two from that.
