Is that an aftermarket rear bumper or did you build it that way?

I love the way the bumper fits but I would be different then everybody else and have it chrome plated, instead of body colour :2cents:

Oddly enough… The rear bumper is completely metal. One of the nicest pieces I've done.  So good… I thought about going chrome. Ha.  Nope. No chrome on the car at all.   Completely custom mounts.

So much has happened since I've updated this thread…  welding the roof on upside down. Then all the lead work…  B's A's markers n rockers…  Epoxy sealer all over.  Then those  door handles…   The rear valence is a combination of a new barracuda piece and my old one.  Every hole in the bay is gone. Including the shock tower holes and bulkhead connector. No wrinkles in the jambs.   Really been taking my time here. No rush.  Just messn' around... :poopoke:

If you're keeping the window trim you can have it anodized to look like black chrome.

Thanx ALL!!      Here's a few more quick pix…     Been sanding a lot.   Gettn close to taping off one side of the belt line and starting the insanity.  Waited a long time for this…    And worked hard to get here.  Crazy how the pix go from complete basket case to a resemblance of a car.  Ha.

The pass. side gaps are now absolutely perfect…  Don't ask me how I know...   :screwy:

Have any of you ever seen a perfect car…?   Because you're about to…     :swaying:

I just can not believe you are going to paint the whole car in a stipple textured rough coating after doing all that hard rubbing.......... :faint:

Texture soon… Ha.  I have some pix to share of the ongoing madness…     Hey Wes, I am not sure on paint yet. Been using Sherwin Williams auto supplies here in Boulder for primer and supplies.   She is coming along quite nicely.  Hard to believe it's happening!  Been sanding a lot.  Wait till you see her now!!   :stir pot:
