Lot's of little problems to fix.Keeps me on my toes. With the help of some friends, It's really coming along!I drove it today for the first good drive. :jumping:  It's faster, really sounds mean! The alterKation is awsome! It's everything I wanted. No regrets here. The whole feel is different.I will get power steering someday. The 5 speed has worked perfectly. What fun that is!!It's more than I hoped for.Brakes aren't broken in yet, tomarow we'll work on that. They stop her.Lot's of work under that hood.I'm very happy with it. Just a blast to drive! What a day I had!! This is the life.      And here's a pic of me putting the last piece of chrome back on.The hood badge.  It meant alot. Felt good to share it with friends who put up with all my Mopar insanity. :drunk:   Lot's more pics soon.....and mayby some vids too... ::)

Quarter mile times with a 5 speed ?  Personaly I wouldn't bother. An automatic is the way to go fast in a straight line. This is a play car. Lap times...  That's a different story.  Gotta' put 500 miles on her. Then I'll get some dyno time. She's got some bark that's for sure. It is LOUD!!   I mean it's  L  O  U  D !!  Sounds like a hemi :P It's got that deep, hollow sound to it.  It's like a new car to me. So much is different. I'm very happy with it. Standing there looking at it...  I can't believe what I've done!    :faint:       Thanks everybody!!        Thanks hemlken!!      Now everyday is going to be the best day of my life.   Back at it...    :working:

:wow: I love the way it turned out!!  You did a great job.  The engine bay is so clean and simply states "Excuse me, I am a caveman engine - and yes, I'll hand you your ass any way you'd like it served."

Makes me wish we could carve those canyons together... what a sight huh?  :bigshades:

Is that a trick flow fuel filter under your hood?  I'm not sure if my fuel filter is keeping up with the flow and need to explore other options...  :bigshades:

That's just a Jegs fuel filter. There's another one before the pump down on the other side of the frame.Keeps it away from heat.I had a problem before...Nothing yet.  HV fuel pump too.  Going electric soon.  I really need a new carb. Still playing with the fuel lines. Waiting on more toys.

THANKS FOR ALL THE COMMENTS!!!!!!        Lot's of tuning/tightening. Just a few more things and she'll be ready. The 5 speed is the sh!t !   Brakes are cool.  The 340 just screams!   It's a fun drive for sure!!  And I didn't loose all that much gas milage. A perfect street car for me.            Hey Wes...   You'll hear it,trust me.  I drive all the time! :burnout:

Today is the big day!!!  I've been working so hard on this.Everything I got!!  Been having LOT'S of little problems. Fighting them all to get her ready for today.  First the intake gasket in front was not sealing...Then the oil pan leaked in back... :faint:   Not to mention the steering was missing a lock-nut to keep the tie-rods real tight! Then back to the rack...Brakes are there now,Tranny cross was hitting the shifter,Just one thing after another. I've been out in the garage till' 1:30 a.m. everyday. Pushing for this one day.......TODAY!      I'm going out to put that key in....And :burnout:      JUST WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU GUYS ALL SOOOO MUCH!!!   I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT YOU PEOPLE AND THIS SITE.       I set a goal for myself. A big one for me.And all those times when I thought it would never happen are gone.  I'm here now.  It's all ready to go...       And it's my Birthday....

                                                      THANK YOU CC.c    It's all I ever wanted. :2thumbs:
