The guages are mech.  The water temp. seems to run a bit high. Kinduv hoopdie sender. I left the factory temp. hooked up.The oil pressure was already run.Luckily the guages were the same size threads. (autometer/autoguage)They fit right in there, like they should be there almost.

I knew somebody would  :poopoke: me on the heater thing. ::)     Sometime next year I'll do the interior.Get the heaterbox rebuilt.New dash, guages.    Might get a moto.... :1zhelp:  Wait till' you see my new DH bike :eek7:

I'm trying to find a pic..      Mines in a raw finish...no paint       Don't ask the price...     :money:      This is among the top three bikes in the world. Cutting edge technology.Hand made in the U.S.A. Made out of Aluminum.   Very very nice stuff. 9.5 "  wheel travel, disc brakes.  I'll go down to the shop and take some pics of the frame.Been riding intense cycles since 1998.  I was MSC overall season champion 2005.

Very nice!  I ride mostly recreationally.LOL  Sometimes I ride and crash...  I don't get along with big jumps too well.  I hve more of a cross/free ride set up.  2004 S-Works Enduro, I managed to snap my Hope brake lever last time out. :banghead:

That's a great bike Tom !   Perfect for all around stuff. That's a pretty beefy fork too. Let me know if you need something for it,I get pretty good deals on stuff.I like the black!   The DH stuff is expensive!     Hey watch out for that seatpost being too low and hitting the shock on compression!    We are a big Specialized dealer. That wasn't a cheapie bike either....      Nice ride man! :ylsuper:

Thanks, I did some work for a dealer(electrical) and traded for it.  I kept braking things before.LOL  Now I'm good unless a big crash comes...  I ordered just the frame and had him add the good stuff.  It is a bit heavy, but solid.  Yes DH stuff is $$$ I had a Big Hit for a bit but started to do some stupid things and I thought about living longer and stopped.

Tom

I got the shock protector under the boot and it doesn't seem to hit they way it compresses.  I went to a place in NH,purpose built for DH Highland Mountain Bike park.  That was a rush.  Nice when they bring you to the top on a chair lift.  My legs were sore for a few days....

I've been putting the miles on!   Sure is fun!   It's  EXPENSIVE to drive. The m.p.g isn't quite what I thought. It's too hard to drive it slow.My foot gets tired. Gotta' gas it!!   Sounds mean!  Not too many problems. Little stuff.  Keeping it looking new is tough. Wipe it down twice a week. I'm broke but very happy. Mopar daze this weekend. 50 mi. trip one way. I'm going.

When I stand there and look at it...I can't believe it!  It's all just so much. Hard to sink- in.   Like a fantasy. I've never had something like this. And put so much into it. It's hard to put into words.  Just never done anything for myself quite like this. It's always for someone else. Everytime I start it up, I think of all you people out there. I think of how just 3 yrs. ago this was all a dream. How did this happen?  How did I ever afford that alterKation?  What was I thinking?  The dust is starting to settle. My finances are gone. I mean gone. No DH bike...I sold the frame. Times will be tight for a bit. I'll make it.Not worried about that. Remember...I drive the sickest car in Boulder CO !!! People drive the nicest cars here.I see it all.... BMW,Mercedes,Lexus....Pimped to the max STI's,Talon's.Not to mention 350's,Porsches,Ferrari's,People like to show off.  Not one E-body rolls this town like me. I see Mopars every now and then. There are some queens. Stand on a corner downtown....around 7:30 p.m.     Listen for the sound...  :burnout:     everyday.

NICE!  I say you can't take it with you and you could drop dead at any time. Enjoy that cool Mopar and stop doing so much for others and take care and spoil yourself.  Time to start showing off your ride.

The 5 speed is alot of fun! I love it!! My favorite part of the car is the pistol grip!! I havn't shifted above 5K with it yet. She'll set you back in the seat! It's a whole new driving experience for me. Being able to get up to 100 m.p.h. with 3:91's is cool.It shifts smooth,No problems. When I tell people it's a 5 speed they look at me funny.   It sure does stand out! I've had people run out into the street to take my picture! That's not why I own one though. This is me...Right down to the soul.I got 'cuda in my blood. I love all old cars. Mostly MOPAR! The steering,brakes,5 speed, suspension, plus 100 more h.p.!  I have to admit... I'm a pretty happy guy :icon16:   Shelbydog...Those words got me thinking!...I took your advice and built up my new DH bike reguardless of the "costs".It's too much a part of me to not ride! Thanks!!   And I'm not going down to the car show....Even better...A super big cruise!! With lot's of stops.Hundreds of cars.I love to drive!! I'll be cruisin' with a light silver green 71 R/T 340 Challenger!!  We are gonna' have some FUN tomarow!!   I can't wait !! :jumping:       I'll get pics   :picture:     :2thumbs:
