I'll see the NHRA if funds allow. Right now it's all gas money. Driving the 'cuda is different now. It's all I want to do.It drives so good. The coil shox are butter. Can't say enough about the difference in performance. I never expected to go this far with the car.I breathe a huge sigh of relief in regards to mechanicals.I've come a long way in a short time. Been all over it,Inside and out.   I forgot how much fun it is to drive,And how many really cool people you meet at shows/ cruises. The season has just begun. And my foot doesn't get tired anymore.

One thing...  I get a vibration around 55-60 mph. mostly through the pistol grip. It's better than it was before.Been there since the beginning. Newer driveshaft with the 5 speed. It was shortened.Mayby raise up the trans in the bac alittle? Re balance the shaft? Still need 4x alignment. And frame measured out. Cranx pulley has chrome button heads not factory bolts.New balancer. Been through alot of changes.Still the vibe. Any ideas?   :dunno:

Check your pinion angle on the front yoke to driveshaft and driveshaft to pinion, it should match.  It that it okay, chock the front tires front and back, put the rear end up on jack stands and take off the rear tires. Then carefully bring the car up to cruising speed and RPM where you feel the vibration. Is it still there?   When you had your driveshaft shortened and balanced, was it a GOOD driveshaft place?  I had mine looked at and the driveshaft place that did it had reindexed it off by a few degrees.  The "good" place fixed it for me then rebalanced it.

it would look cool to have some 340 stickers made to go behind the cuda in the quarter panel.

FINALLY!!!!    Got my computer back! The K button works now!! :woohoo:   Still some issues. Oh well...   So here's the news:   My brother has been yanking my chain about getting a car. He's a mustang guy. I've been converting him to Mopars. So one day he shows me another craigslist ad. i tell him to call... Next thing you know...We scored a really nice 1969 Dodge Charger!!!!!!!!!!!!!   It's all there!! Complete, was a 318,Now 383 !!  Runs Killer!!  My first RB!!  The guy bought it in 1989 for 6K.Was his HS car,Got married in it.  we scored it for 7900.   the plugs were fouled, crap in the gas tank,But now we got all that done. Just waiting on an elec. conversion.  We've really cleaned it up,And started on the interior.      This is gonna' be sweeeeeeet!!   Going Black!! :aarg:    So I'm surrounded by my beloved Mopars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     :cooldancing:
