    The roof structure is in decent shape considering.  Only problem is right at the bottom of the drip edge.   Yes, I've blasted it inside and out.   Hey Wes, Look around for that piece... I'd use it if it's got what I need. Otherwise not a big deal to make up. 

    HP2... YuP the R side large return flange on the outside of the cowl had completely popped free. And caused a spiderweb crack I welded up. Not much luck welding dirty old seams,Butt I'll try.  Sooo...  I've beefed up both ends of the cowl in 16 ga. sheet due to some heavy pitting and small hole L side.  Came out great!  And made a much better mounting point.  I took a lot of time fitting the us cartools fender braces. Got them in 1/4" more. Almost time to weld them in... Going to epoxy seal inside/out first.

    Lot's of time prepping behind/inside the connectors/plates. Trying to seal everything up while I can get in there.  Nice pieces, Fit was good overall.   Luckily you guys here talked me into welding the shock towers to the inner fenders really good.  Otherwise not much point IMO.

    About to seal the main structure soon. Can't wait!      Now I can't decide on weather to pull the whole outer wheelhouses at the flange or trim them to fit.  Hmmm.   Every new AMD piece delivered is a thing of beauty.  Next week I'll place an order for the back half of the car!

    Robert,
    The piece I have is the drivers side. "A" pillar and back. It has the sort of trapezoidial piece the full length including the bottom of the drip rail.
    It's your's if you want it since your local. Just PM me if you want it.

    By the way tub it. I did mine and it wasn't hard while you have it torn apart. I also tubbed/flared out the outer side of the tub near the quarter so 335s will tuck up tighter and lower.

    Do those fender braces completely replace the stock ones?  How is access to the hood hinge adjusters?

    The directions said to leave the factory braces. I chose to remove them.  Access is a little limited,But you can get in there. Hey Wes,Thanx for the offer. Ill probably be alright. My L side isn't bad. It's the R side... Hey,I'd like to see how you tubbed yours...  R/T

    Had to go down to FLA. for a week to help MoM. She got a new laminate floor.     Before I left Fed Ex decided to deliver my cage to their biddies down the street. So I had to jump through some hoops. But Josh Rhodes at Rodes race cars really helped me out and sent out another one right away. And the product was absolutely perfect. At a great price! I'd highly recommend them for cages.  Fit was real good. I liked the tubing so much I'm ordering two more long pieces for the "X" in the back window.  Grinding the welds smooth and probably going to polish it and clear.   Got both outer wheelhouses fitted up. Most of my patches are ready. So I'm prepping to seal.   Not tubbing her... Just not worth it for me. I'm staying with the V48's in 17x11" so no real need. And after mucho deliberation I've decided to leave the mopar frame connectors where they are.  Somebody stick welded one side up real good. And I'd fight forever and possibly mess it up for 1".   Aarons build gave me a few other ides for some additional bracing.

    wow,  you`re going fast!  :2thumbs:  apart from the lady ,I like the rendering with the black 5 spokes and red line tires best.  clean but brutal look  :drool:
    The exhaust going through the rockers looks killer too  :bigshades:

     Ehhh, I don't know that you want to grind down the welds. If you ever take it to any type of competition driving event, they can refuse you entry for this.

    Ya I was wondering about that. A bit too late but thanks HP2. I'm going to have a friend of mine whos a pro welder come over and help me out. Maybe he can lay over the top of what I got going. And finish it up after I get it back in.  Thanks for the heads up!  I can't get it good enough anywayz.    Started the sub-rocker patches,One down. It came out amazing! if I do say so.

    Been busy as usual... Mostly playin with my daily driver...  1987 Chrysler Conquest TSI. 2.6L 5 speed turbo. 4X discs, IRS.  Just got a new top end. Non-jet valve head.  Runs real good! New front air dam/splitter.  Back up in the mountains... need to take it easy though... This little car basically cost me my license  for a few days last year.   drifting up Berthoud pass. 90 m.p.h.    got it lowered to "inappropriate mountain driving"  It was an epic experience on one of the greatest roads ever paved.  There are a lot of fun drives around here.  yeah, And I need new rubber...      Might paint it new Chally Jazz blue.  It's original color is called "Atlantic" blue. Supposedly the rarest color for quests.  Just not sure. The interior is a dark blue/Black.    satin primer really makes the lines pop.  Maybe a satin silver? Or no metal flake. Hmm.   

    Got metal from Dave today!!    Had to start messn' around. I love new metal.   Thank's for helpin' me out over there at Roseville!!  Can't wait to get fenders and skins!!! :woo:   Butt there's plenty to do around the shop now!!   :working:  The panels look great!!

    And figured I'd share my real weapon...!  2013 Specialized DH bike...   If you knew what I can do on this thing...!! Been shreddn' Keystone lately.     My life iz SiK !     :cooldancing:

    I had a conquest back in 86 put a little over 100,000 miles on mine tell she blew up.

    Always wanted to drop a 340 in it never did fun car.

    Looking good man! I do like the wheels on the Conquest, don't know if I've ever really seen one of those cars before. 

    Sounds pretty cool.  That's a Demo 8, right?  The guy I ride with just got one of those.  Bad ass bike!

    Love the Quest, the blue you are referring to is one of the few blues I would use, beautiful - Seems similar to the blue Subaru used on WRX's. I have had 2 Starions, Mitsubishis version. Both were before the TSI with intercooler though. Funny you mentioning dropping a 340 in one, I see a Purple Challenger FWD 2.2 turbo every so often around here and always thought it would be neat to convert one of them to RWD with a 340. quest would be easier, there are a few of them sitting around here, hmmmm. Just what I need another project.

    High Performance Mopar magazine did a 340 conversion in a Conquest way back in the early 90s. They documented the whole conversion over about a year of articles. Turned out pretty nice and I've wanted to do a similar deal ever since. I've even got a '92 Stealth to use for it, but, time to work on things is a premium for me.
