Ok, I give up. I'm going to Louisiana

I always post what I need for my car here in the want adds. nobody ever replies and says I got it. Maybe because I need usually small and non expensive parts, but I don't know.

so now I have to drive 900 miles round trip this winter to southern Louisiana to my 5 acre collection of e bodies just to get some of the little items.  Atleast the poisonous snakes and wasps will be sleeping. I hate to pull parts with biting critters around. I may bring a load of extra stuff to post forsale, but havent made my mind up yet.

I know I will bring some stuff back for cudahunter. He needs everything for his project.  I'm also going to bring my 72 cuda super comp car back home. It has been put up since 1999. 

I got like 5 barracudas and 4 or 5 challengers that are rusty. Also an 18 wheeler van and 2 sheds full of parts along with the barn. But I am leaving 99.9% of the stuff down there. It's too expensive to move it all.

I need the bolts that hold 70 model seat belts in. They are smaller shanks.
rear sway bar bolts that go to the frame rails
left muffler shield.
a passenger mirror
left rear quarter chrome molding
sure is a shame to spend 200 bucks in fuel and food to get these little items.
I still have to go to tropicalcats house and pick up my 4 speed stuff I bought and to give stinger these cuda doors. And thats 700 miles north of me. I just drove 2300 miles in 2.5 days and hate driving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel for ya,  I'm on the other side of the coin, I have little or no extra parts.  Seems like when I do get some, no one seems to need them.  Oh well.

Me I enjoy driving ( except for the paying for gas part. )  If your travels ever bring you near Dayton, OH, let me know, maybe I can tag along for part of the trip to keep you company and turn a wrench or two.

Alan, Don't feel alone, if you notice a good percentage of Wanted adds get no real response, and considering what you are looking for are mostly hard to come by items I'm not surprised.

Wish I could help. I just don't have a big stash O parts.
I think you are probably one of the more generous enthusiasts out there. It is  a shame no one can help you out. I can understand if others don't have spares. The local junkyard burnt 5 E bodies trying to get a roof for me, otherwise, I would offer to go and get you some parts.
