Spooky experience for 4C
« on: November 10, 2007 - 10:57:04 AM »
Some of you know that I'm a Real Estate broker with 3 offices and about 80 agents.  Part of my job lately is going to foreclosures to verify different things for the bank that is trying to take control and recover some of the money that they have tied up in the property.

So yesterday I went into a foreclosure that was raided for drugs and the current owner is in jail . . or so I thought. I entered the property easiely because I had already had the front door rekeyed so I could take pictures of all the stuff in the home for the bank so they could decide if they needed to do a personal property eviction or not.  I had been to the home about a week prior and although it was messy . . . all was good.  Well this time I discovered that the owner of the home had been released from jail and was now DEAD on the couch.  This is not something that I usually come across when I check homes.

Spooked me alittle but I'll be ok.  I called 911 and helped out the best that I could.  Looked to me like he has been there for a few days.  The 911 dispatcher asked if I had considered CPR and from the look of him . . . don't think that would of helped.

Ahhh the excitement of being a real estate broker!   :grinyes:

That would have spooked me too.  Just be glad he wasn't still alive, hopped up on something, and pi$$ed off when you went in.

Woulda been a better ending if you found a Hemi 'Cuda in the garage or something... oh, well, next time...

Man, definitely not a "normal day at the office" category. That is something that will stick with you for life!! Glad it wasn't something else like finding him there & him threatening you!!! Life is full of surprises!!

Forget dialing 911, I would have been running for the hills.   :scared:

I would have to guess that he had too many drugs for dinner.  Whether it was on purpose or an accident is still unknown.

I second that. Better him than you, being stiff.
