Some Photos Of Lucy
« on: November 13, 2007 - 01:21:32 AM »

I haven't been around here too much lately, especially for me, let alone post some photos of my pride and joy, so, why not! A couple of backgrounds have been photoshopped to add effect but Lucy is "el natural" lol except for the engine bay/hood shot, you'll see when you get to it. A few different angels and what-not different light + lens. Edit:  Actually, I lied, the 1st photo I must have accidentally run over the passenger headlights with the sharpen tool.

Cheers,
Carl

Thanks guys, "spiffy", love the word, will store that somewhere in my head. Bugger, just saw that the engine bay shot wasn't included, here it is below. I like these shots. To do one to your car, park it in one spot and use a tripod, take one shot with the hood up, one with the hood down and overlay the one with the hood closed over the one with the hood open and erase the hood lightly, whala! Below are some of Dad's SRT8 shots I also took as well as an engine shot. Trying to take my photography (just a nice hobby) to the next level, I'm really enjoying it, car subjects only of course.

Thanks Lostcountfornow. There are lots of things to touch up on, I'm waiting for a polarised lens filter which is a huge addition. It will eliminate all the reflections on the car, well, most of the major ones. Like on Dad's SRT8 hood, see the tree reflection that spoilt that shot, that wouldn't be there. It's good fun! :grinyes:

Hi NZ,
What can I say, both look great!  :woohoo:
As far as your photo hobby, you don't have to just take pictures of cars.
A nice babe in the shot would work well, too.  :smilielol:
