Well, can't speak for all noobs, but for me it depends on the route and timing.

How close to the event are the routes and times finalized?

I assume they're arriving on Friday, so on Saturday I'd be on my own.

We've got all our caravans converging on Carlisle and HOPEFULLY meeting up around the same time (within an hour or 2 of each other) at our hotel... Those in the Chicago - Carlisle and the Sweet Tea (south east) caravans have the longest drives... it's a 12 hour drive for me and I'm not quite sure for the other one... you'd have to ask Rev!! ;) Like I said earlier... we'll be picking up a couple guys at the first "oasis" on the turnpike if you want to meet us there, that'd be kick-ass!!! ;D ;D

July is coming... slowly but surely!!

Got a hotel, so we will be at Carlisle!    :D :D

It doesn't look like any caravans are coming our way - we'll be leaving from the West Chester area on Friday morning (7/9), probably out US 30 though Dutch country then PA 283 to Harrisburg.

We'll probably get there Friday noon-ish.

Look for the white 72 Cuda making a lot of racket.  ;D

You in Atlanta??  Hot diggity!!  We're in Marietta.  Never too early or too late to make a decision my friend.  We're planning on driving up Thursday, July 8th.  It would be great to have you along!

Let me guess....you driving a brown cuda?
