Well, I went to my first car show today.  It was held by the San Antonio Mustang Club and it took place at the Bass Pro Shop.  I cleaned the car for about 10 hours Saturday in preperation for the event.  Jesus, how do ya'll do that all the time?  I pull in 30 minutes early and there are too many cars there to pull into the designated car show parking area so they started to park us in the regular parking area.  There was quite a distance between the two areas and the show area had all the music, raffles, food, and drinks.  I went ahead and registered and walked back down.  10 minutes later I'm about to leave cause I'm missing the Cowboy game (they won, go Polks!) and I'm unwilling to leave my car down there by itself while I go to the main area to check out all the cars.  It was about that time that they all of a sudden decided to let us come on in and park in the lanes between all the parked cars, which were parked one parking spot each rather than 2 cars to 3 spots.  All together 281 cars with an expected turn-out of 150.  Wow.

The show was fun and I met some good folks in the San Antonio Mopar Club.  Any of ya'll here shout out!  Being a mustang club sponsered event, there were tons of mustangs.  Also, a new stock 2008 Challenger, which came in second place in the Mopar class (same I was in).  I didn't place, I think, because my back seat area isn't finished and hell I didn't know that a fire extinguisher was part of the "safety" check list.  Silly judges   It was a bit nerve racking because every now and then a car would try to leave early and they'd squeeze by with only 1/2" to spare before sliding tire to metal or metal to metal on the side of my car.  Overall, my first experience was good because I met some new Mopar folks, but next time I think I'd rather cruize around the hill country with 'em and then grab a burger.

:burnout:

Here's some pics!

WOW! Your Cuda is one of my favorites on this forum.

Is it true that House of Kolors Violet is a 3 stage paint?

Keep them pics coming!
