Thanks for the comments everyone  :ylsuper:

The car is nearing completion and looks freakin' awesome!  I'll try to post some random pics here in the next week or so...

I LOVE the profile - love the color, even like the wheels - look like the new Viper wheels.

Need to take some sunlight shots when it's done!  Looks fantastic!

I want my Gold to be that vibrant...

Here's some more pics!

I went with 285/40/18 on 10's in the rear and 245/45/17 on 8's in the front.  The wheels are Billet Specialties SLG60's.  I'm so happy with the look, it turned out perfect!  Nice and meaty!  It looks like it means some serious business  :ylsuper:

The hood is custom made by Steve Enocks.  It started life as a standard Year One hood, but it's been radically modified and perfectly straightened.  Even the cutouts in the rear of the hood were re-done so that they are flat and flawless.  The hood contours match the fenders precisely.  Couldn't be happier with it!

The dash is a Rocky Mountain Dashes E2.  the flat surfaces have been painted to match the stripes (HOK pearl black) and the insides of the "holes" where the gauges go are actually flat black to match the Autometer bezels.  It took some fitment and custom fabrication of the surrounding panels in order to appear flush and correct.  I don't think the E2 is designed to work with AC cars.  If you are interested in a Rocky Mountain dash, be sure to ask Mike about your specific application.

Oh ya, I had the Arizen leather seats custom embroidered (stitched) with the red, white, and blue AAR logo!  We had to do the artwork on the logo ourselves so that the image would be straight up and down, rather than slanted like it is on the side of an AAR Cuda.  The image is my avatar.  I had to have the logo SOMEWHERE!  :cooldancing:

Cuda is looking fantastic!!!!!!!    :ylsuper:

Do you have any pictures of your rollbar?  I'll be doing a 4-point in mine as well so I'm interested in how yours is routed.

Thanks,
Travis

I'm located down near Corpus Christi and am doing something similar to my Challenger. Kind of a T/A, R/T, Pro Touring blend. Probably going to be either viper blue or HOK Burple with a satin finish gunmetal grey hood, spoiler and stripes.

Do you get to the San Antonio shows like the one at Gunn Dodge this past year? If so I'll definately have to keep an eye out for that car. Somehow I don't think it'll be that hard to miss...

BEAUTIFUL CUDA!!!!! That thing is GORGEOUS! I'm building a pro-tourer outta my '69 Charger. Its not gonna be that much of one right now though. Just an updated suspension, way nicer and cooler wheels and disc brakes on the front. I cant wait to see your Cuda done!!!! :droolingbounce:

I want to get these for weekend driving, but especially road racing. :burnout:
1)How sturdy are those Arizen seats?
 2)Are they comfortable or firm?
3)Are they the regular or the deep, tight bolster?
4)Why did you go with Arizen versus a similar style in Recaro or Sparco?
5)Any specific slider/bracket I should get for cuda?
6)Were any modifications needed or did they truely bolt-in?
7)How much do they weigh compared to stock seats?
8)Did you get leather, if not how do you like their vinyl-like material?

I want to get these for weekend driving, but especially road racing. :burnout:
1)How sturdy are those Arizen seats? Very sturdy, great quality
2)Are they comfortable or firm? I think they are both.  The firmness is just right and they break-in to being quite comfortable
3)Are they the regular or the deep, tight bolster? i went with the regular bolster at the normal (non-widened) width.  It holds you pretty tight.
4)Why did you go with Arizen versus a similar style in Recaro or Sparco?  Sure you don't work for Arizen?  Lol - my friend has these seats in his camaro and I loved em.
5)Any specific slider/bracket I should get for cuda?  Yes, if you call Mark at Arizen he'll recommend a company to you.  It took about 5 weeks for them to make the brackets, and it cost like $200, but they do fit.
6)Were any modifications needed or did they truely bolt-in? Bolt-in, no problems
7)How much do they weigh compared to stock seats? I don't know, similar weight would be my guess
8)Did you get leather, if not how do you like their vinyl-like material? I went with leather cause leather breathes and is more comfortable to me.  The vinyl material is on the back of the seat and matches/feels perfect

Mark, at Arizen, is a super guy.  I had a wonderful experience working with him on the embroidery.  If you have any questions, I'm sure you'll find him very helpful - just call

Thanks
Have you or anyone you know sat and driven in the deep bolster seats? Will they be too uncomfortable for weekend driving?

No, I haven't sat in the larger bolster seats.  My thought is that it wouldn't change the comfort, but getting in and out would be more difficult.
