alright guys and gal's get ready to step back to the 90's cause thats about the last time any work was done to it.  The car was org. a 318 2bbl now it has a 440 ( the swap was done back in highschool in 1990) after that it was a fun bracket racer/weekend warrior.

As far as the plans i wanna stroke the 440 but in the mean time i scored a '68 hp 383 a few years back complete for a steal so that will be swapped in during the build.  And ive been stockpiling parts for years to make the car a weekend warrior again.  The body needs some work it has several rust issue's that will be addressed this winter.  It has a fiberglass front clip but i think the org. steel may be going on instead or some repop fenders once they get released.  As far as the color idk

And here ya go look what i got to work with here

And check out this headliner you prob havent see anything like this in years...............

Nice project and in Nebraska any Cuda without much rust that was driven has to be hard to find. I grew up there and no all about the rust issues my cars had. Keep us posted on your progress with lots of pictures so we can all check them out.

I bet that was some love making machine with that headliner, supprised noone put there foot through it  :roflsmiley:

And, i love the fact that you have 2 garages, by the looks of the neighborhood, thats a tight fit! im the same way, we just bought a rowhouse with a 1 car garage, and if it were up to me Id build an extension all the way to the alley for a long garage!  :stirpot:

stupid question, but i know 70 rallye gauges are different. i see yours looks like a 120 set with the large speedo but there is woodgrain? is this the 70 rallye set-up?  :clueless:

Wally,

The woodgrain over the standard gauges was for the Gran Coupe model only.

Gran Coupe, Challengers with std. cluster & J64 and it was part of the A91 Western Sport Special Challenger option group.

The Challengers actually used the Barracuda cluster if the wood grain option was specified.

Just a little trivia for you.....
