Looking good Street.  This is the stage you start to get a glimmer or what she's really going to look like.  This is the beginning of the giggle stage.

If you look carefully in the first photo, you can see he has already plasma cut the lower quarter.  After comparing the belt line on the car to the repop's one, we figured it would be the only way to go.  Also, for those of you who didn't know, the upper quarters had two larger holes drilled into them and were beaten down severely with a hammer.  Rather than bondo all over them, he was willing to cut the ones off his parts car and reinstall them on mine to make it that much better....Now that's what I call an awesome neighbor!!!! 8) :)
I'll get some more updates tomorrow night for ya'll.  ;) :P

I'm probably going to decide on PPG Plum Crazy Purple....I really like the other high impact colors, too, but I don't want to choose the same hue as the other people in the area.  There's a Burnt Orange one, a Sublime one (prolly my fav.), and a Top Banana one.  I figure I'll make it unique for the area.  :P

That was the result of a smaller scale side collision that ended with a crappy body repair....There's about two or three inches of bondo filling in a good-sized dent.  The dent even goes into the outer wheel well a bit.  But nothing else is damaged, so I'm happy for that.  Besides, the wheel well was rusty and needed to be replaced anyways.  :P

Is it fixable or in need of a new quarter? From the photo and what you've said I guess it's on to eBay?  ;)

Well the '73 Petty blue 340 Barracuda is on the way

The roof is done and I have nice sheet metal and grill
for the front but the back is gonna need replacing.
at first I thought patch panels were gonna do it but
now I think it all needs to be replaced to the back of
the doors. That's no problem  but it killed my enthusiasm
and now I'm leaning to instead build a killer lightweight
street machine as I have all fiberglass parts I need
just sitting around. Also just sitting around is my old
'72 bracket car.
boggles the mind doesn't it ;)

Did I mention that I have all the engine parts from my
super street eliminator car  still tucked away in the
garage
I have never sold or thrown away anything and I've
been doing this for a long time
