Take a look at the engine in this car. He is tring to give the imperession it's a 426 Hemi. The pics of the car will not completely show the engine. But then he shows a 426 by it's self. Looking at the pics of the car it's easy to spot the rear dist!!!

It is really hard to tell exactly what engine is in this car.  The pic of the engine is from another vehicle.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Hey 426HEMI,

An M46. Wow, you don't see very many of those, with the rear quarter scoops!

Hard to tell what engine is in it, but how does he get a "real" JS R/T in '72?

I love how it's really a 392 Hemi in his car, yet it's depicted as being a 426.  Nice catch, Rare_T_A!  I also love how any true potential buyer should easily be able to notice the plug wires are different and go to two different locations between the photos.

Edit: he actually has himself covered as he only states it has a Hemi and has the proper badging on the hood.  It's a pretty tough call as it should technically state it's a 392 Hemi, but with 426 Hemi badging used throughout the car. :2thumbs: I don't know how some people can put a car in an eBay auction and still not give all the facts... ::)

Everything is on the up and up besides a little misleading and inventive writing until you see the curious yellow hemi pic. That is blatant fraud and some sucker probably thougt or still thinks it is a real 426. That will probably be one mad mutha when he finds out he has a 331/354/392 under the hood of his car.

I emailed him (before it sold) and got this response.  I guess it is really "buyer beware" and do your homework.
(It sold for $31,100.  Is that a good price?)

Dear f355---driver,

So, is this a 426 Hemi or is the engine in the car a 392 or something? Why is the picture of the 426 Hemi a picture of a different car, not the one you are selling?
Thanks

Thanks I emailed him (before it sold)it is a 392....i just had the single carb switched for a dual carb setup like the one in the picture... i judy had it installed last friday... it was then dynotuned and runs so much better...

thanks for the email...

You can tell it is to different motors. The plug wires are a different color--the valve covers are also different and his car has no power steering pump and the real hemi does.. Someone should just shoot people like that.
