im sure we'll get things figured out and settled.  if a new mod and or admin is needed then we'll go out and get one.  i admit forgetting about having to approve new members and cotm because rev usually handles a lot of that.  now that shes gone ill either need to step it up a bit or get some more help.  but besides those two aspects of the board, nothing else has suffered.

I didnt hear anything about her being gone. I figure she is extremely tied up with her life right now.  If she was stepping down, I think she would make a post about it. So I vote to just hang in there till after the holidays, make a way to let in new comers, and watch our language and such, things are regularly being re posted in propper spots by the other mods, and cotm isn't hurting anyones feelings right now. If anyone actually has a complaint about the cotm  they can go to the complaint department and ask for Helen Wait like everyone else. So if anyone asks me about the cotm I respond by telling them to go to Helen Wait or just be patient :2thumbs:

Sometimes when the work load starts to increase, you just have to trim back a little to make up for it. We have to look at things, and decide what has priority. For example, if the only thing this site had was a COTM, would anyone come here? Of course not. The forum is the most important thing, and I'm sure everyone would agree with that. So we just have to prioritize things, maybe with a poll, and let the least popular things slide a little, until we can get more help, or just eliminate them entirely. Or maybe the admins should make a list of all of the duties that need peformed, and the percentage of time that each one takes to perform, in order to see where things can be cut back.

Hey All!   I'm not around all that much but when I do have a question its always answered quickly by the guys that know these cars better than me. I always try to help out others as much as I can and post in the right areas to cut down the work of others. I think its a good site and just as good as when I joined in Jan. '04. I really apreciate that the people here are excepting of a Vette fan who's also a Cuda-Challenger fan as well. Plain and simple I like American Muscle cars but the Cuda and the Challenger were the ones I grew up with and I think the site is fantastic. Thanks to all who spend their free time keeping it going.

Aside from COTM falling behind, the rest of the site has looked relatively as sound as it was these past several years.  I could definitely see having a couple more Administrators or Moderators to help alleviate the rise in members/posting. :2thumbs:
1973 Dodge Challenger......................The ongoing project. (00/----\00)
1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin-Turbo....The sunny day cruiser (RTBoost)
1990 Toyota Celica GT Liftback...........The new daily & winter driver.
All-American Muscle: 'Cudas and Challengers...Still the Elite and always will be.
