Need a little help for my DeSoto..

I know this 59 DeSoto aint no e-body, but this is the only forum where somebody do something to help out...  :ylsuper:

The heater system, air up/down controled by vacuum, got no hoses at all, anyone know where to get info on how to connect new ones..???

The temp, is somehow controled by this,  - how, and where to get a new one..???

Aint something missing on the radiater core..???

In the top picture I see no vacuum fittings, appears to be cable operated with an electrical switch that has no wires connected...

The top pic may have had a vacuum switch connected to the rear of the switch shown , it looks like a port through the firewall for the vacuum lines as well , you need to connect a vacuum line to the manifold to supply vacuum , it would then go through the switch & out to the valve on the rad to open the flow

I got a vacuum hose from the manifold, going into the car, ending with a screw in it for block up..

What I need is hoses from controlpanel to air up/down vacuum valves...


The "thing" on the pic., is cable-controled, from the temp. control, you pick a temp, and it got a feeler in the airchanel, then, - somehow the electric connections on it somehow is supposed to regulate the valve on the core... I think.. :clueless: :clueless: :clueless:
