Big Block Cam question?

can you install a 3 bolt camshaft in a 1 bolt camshaft engine?  other than the timing chain they all interchange correct?  ive always wondered this thanks

my 440/500 had a stock 1bolt cam in it and know I have a 3 bolt solid roller in there now  :scared: and pete jackson noisy gear drives  :eek2:

Yes , just swap the chain with the cam ,no other mods nessisary

Remeber to tq and locktite the bolts. :2thumbs: All high lift cams should use the 3 bolt set up in my opinion
