I didn't realize the similarity in these shots but in the process of finding my old 'Odd Rods' cards, i came accross 'Welcome Back Kotter' cards from 1976. Card #1 has this shot of John Travolta and i thought hmmmmm, that looks familiar...

I am not sure why this thread is in the joke section..
One it could be John T pose, or two it because Onefornow actually collects Welcome Back Kotter trading cards.....

That was a pretty good / funny show. But wasn't "Up your nose with a rubber hose" the pet expression of the jewish guy that wore the extra long scarf around his neck? Just right now can't come up with his name. Too funny

I think I used to watch that show and Barney Miller used to be on either before or after it.

You want to go back some more , how about "Car 54 where are you" with Fred Mcglynn and I think the other cop was Buddy Hackett.
Tootie & Muldoon...
Us guys in our 50's can't forget that one....

Car 54 starred Fred Gwynne & Joe E. Ross. Hehehe ... guess us guys in our 50's can forget.
My favorites were always the spy shows from the 60's.

Al Lewis played Leo Schnauser in a few episodes. He was good in the movie "Used Cars" too.

Used cars was great with Kurt Russell! I love the ploy he used with the little dog playing dead after a prospective buyer had just run over him with the station wagon. The ploy worked and as they are driving off the lot in the wagon, they hit the dip pulling out and the kids fall off the tailgate!
And how about their marketing scheme to increase visibility for the car lot - topless chicks on top of the cars!
