« on: November 24, 2007 - 12:58:39 PM »
Hello everyone,my wife and i have been looking at the Chrysler 300,s for some time now. With the high Canadian dollar and our desire to own one of these beauties the time was finally right. Got a smokin deal at American prices. It has the 3.5 Ltr. 250 H.P. engine, nicely optioned. Now we have two mopars in the garage

My wife has one too.  3.5L is a good choice for gas mileage; 'specially for you Canucks.

17mpg on avg still ain't shabby for my wife's SRT8.

:2thumbs: I'm sure glad ya live up "north" or I may accuse you of stealing the 300 I just got for my wife two weeks ago, it's identical. Or at least it seems to be, depending on all the whistles and bells ya may have got? Real nice cars !

Yikes Cowboy, that's gotta hurt! :sly: I thought NZ was bad. The SRT8 versions were selling for $80K new.
Now down to $62K give or take, private or dealer. I think the 5.7L versions are around $45K (+/-).

A new car here, is cost-price + transport + import tax 12% + dealers part + tax 25% + 180% of that in reg. fee.. :bricks1:

A new 300 is more than $ 200K.....

Yikes! I would have thought it would be cheaper to import than to take what the dealer gives you. :sly: I'm not sure what Euros? equate to in US$ but $200K to you in your country is $200K to me in mine so I feel yah.  :-[
