Rev-it-Up,

Lookin' good!!  You're making good progress. At this pace you should make it to Carlisle without too much of a problem..

Thanks MoparMan.  I'm really hoping to drive the car to Carlisle.  We're trying to do something every day on it.  We're waiting for some parts right now and trying to think of other  things to do...like weatherstripping, locks and latches, that kind of stuff.

My husband works from home, so if I have dinner done by 5pm when he quits, we're in the garage by 6pm.  That gives us 4 or 5 hours every night.  Pure bliss!  It's a good thing we work so well together!

Well, actually our kids (17 & 15) have been a little left alone lately.  They actually come down and check on us every once in a while.  I think they understand and haven't laid any guilt trips on us yet.  Hmmmm...maybe we'll go out for a movie tonight..

No, we're going with a totally different color.  We fell in love with a color we saw on a 34 Ford at a car show once.  We asked the guy what is was and it turned out to be a 1996 BMW color called Calypso Red.  Maybe someday when/if we ever need to repaint, maybe we'd go back original...who knows.

That's funny you should ask.  The reason we got this car in the first place was for my son when he was 12...he's now 17.  We thought it would be a good family project.  He just never got interested in cars.  His loss...our gain.  No, he won't be driving it when we're done!

My 15 year old daughter likes Dusters (thankfully, they're much cheaper than e-bodies).  Maybe one day, we'll get her one...if we see a /6 cheapie somewhere.  I think she would actually enjoy working on it.
