This is a good one, thanks for the fun. I knew this would raise NZ's eyebrows!  :22yikes:   :ylsuper:

Good post, it does raise some good discussion.  :2thumbs:

Not to be anal about things but the ones in blue are far from "rock" legends or Rock singers/bands.  :lol2: I don't know who some of the others are. Rock is a lost art these days. Grunge/Emo crying people who use stress and hate to sell, not like the old days of simple, classic lyrics about cars, birds & alcohol.

Glen - LMAO. :smilielol: Hey, you can pick on me, my accent and my looks but never talk about my family, cars and AC/DC  ;D Ah, good topic AC/DC/Rock, always is but I stand by my post that it was a rather weird question lol.

Almost all bands replace members at some time or another ( usually because of an overdose ).  Doesn't make them a cover band in my eyes.

Most, if not all, bands cover other bands songs.  School Days comes to mind.

AB/CD http://www.abcdrocks.it/  Cover/tribute.

Hayseed Dixie http://www.hayseed-dixie.com/  Cover/tribute?  Pig dating Rednecks ?

Well it looks like another band had entered this catagory. I just read that Kevin Dubrow died. He was the lead singer for Quiet Riot.
No information was available on what caused his death. He was 52.

I am totally pi$$ed at myself too.   Learned about his death yesterday morning.  Growing up, Quiet Riot was one of my favorites and they happened to play KC with ZZ Top about a month ago.  I was really wanting to go see them, but didn't.  I talked myself out of going by saying that I would get another chance.   :banghead: :stomp:

Kevin will definitely be missed (imo one of the best voices in metal) and wish the best to his family and friends.  :angelwings:

Yikes NZ, leaving Ted Nugent, Bob Seger and Alice Cooper out of the blue is a sin. They are all Rock Legends, especially the Nuge.
