Seems there's never enough time
« on: November 27, 2007 - 06:04:59 PM »
:'(  It has been a fun week home for the holidays to say the least. But tomorrow I fly out to Ca till the 17th to finish out the year of work. Then 3 weeks off. YIPPIE!!!!

I went to Stephens Performance today and bought a rechromed rear bumper and installed it on my car a bit ago. And the passenger seat belts and heater core. My wife went for her first ride with me since I put it together. She says...

Man this is fast.  I chuckled and said to her,  honey, I havent even opened up the other carbs yet. You wanna see how it runs?  She laughed and said no way. She tried to get me to buy my shaker hood today too, but I told her I would buy it with my hobby money when I got back

So if you need parts, it will be a couple of weeks :violin: but they are safe and dry.

I do wanna thank everyone who has helped me get closer to getting this car going and pushing me towards going to the doc when I get back.  Way out here by myself, cc.c is really my only friends since I keep this place locked up like fort knox. I am thinking about opening a speed shop here at my place. I think selling hp parts would be fun and might be profitable if I can build a good inventory and let someone like Chryco run it for me

Also, if you really need parts sooner, I have 2 options
one   mail them off when they open tomorrow on my way to the airport and just trust members to send the payment or
two    Ask my wife to ship some of the things she can Identify.

So pm me if you really need your stuff right away and I will do my best.

Hi Al
Just be safe wherever you are.I remember my wifes first ride in the Cuda after six years,I asked her at the light if she was ready? and she said for what?Light turned green---and I tore into it real hard, shifted into 2nd at 7200 and third at 6800.Needless to say but 2 minutes later a State trooper pulled into my driveway and ripped me a new butt, and he was right about what I did,but I was still grinning.I did pm you but you should be getting the payment and parts in the next day or two.
