What year, what car? I know the 70 E-Body shock mount plate is different from the later years, and possibly the 71's too. Also, what size rear axle... 8 3/4"??

It's strange, but the 70 E-Body shock mount plates had the stud for the shock mounted about an inch lower to the ground. I have NO idea what difference this would make, performance wise, but I wanted to throw that out there in case you wanted all correct 70 parts. I see them on E-Bay once in a while, but not lately. I'll keep a look out.

I was shipping a set to australia to a member here and have never been paid for them . They are boxed up with other things he wanted but it doesnt look like he will buy them. It's been an email game here back and forth. So , I have a set for 40 bucks that are in very good condition. I got them with my 70 barracuda,  but I couldnt tell if they are 70's or 71/74.

ok mike,

I dont want to chump out another member with parts - that call is up to you. I sure would like to be next in line for them. So if you decide to re-sell them, then YES I will send a check out to you right away for them, I might even have just enough in my paypal account to send to you if you like + the fees.

thanks again for your help,

john
