If anyone on the board is either selling this item on e-bay or attempting to buy - Lets talk. No use in beating each other up over it.

Regarding lack of availability of the underbrackets from Harms, there is a thread on moparts.com right now.  Apparently there is a split between Scott (USA distributor) for Harms products that are made by Domingo in Peru.  Domingo assured that all of his products would be available very soon through reputable vendors.  Apparently their 50/50 partnership in Harms is done.

That's right, we are no longer business assosiates, he is no longer assosiated with Harms Inc. in any way.

Harms Inc. will continue to offer other products and services, our new web site will reflect these changes after the first of the new year.

Domingo did not share any future plans with me concerning the future availability of seat brackets or other the products he used to provide which is why I didn't already post such info on this thread. He said he'd announce his plans at a later date the last time we spoke. If you need those parts you may want to contact him for availability details.

I thought that I had them at 30 seconds left the bid (My bid) was still at 117.00, then all of a sudden bang. The one guy that was bidding (Maddog*) has bought about five sets of seat tracks and barces over the last 5 months.

Can someone give me the exact measurements on these braces ??? I am going to look into making up a set or at least to understand the exact stress relief provided by them and where.

Some one just paid $532.99 for a set of these brackets. So there is no demand for them?

Sure, demand from those two guys who fought it out for that one set that they needed RIGHT NOW. Trust me, when sales have been less than a dozen sets in a year at $199.00 a set retail, you are generally not looking at a profitable business venture. That being said I'm sure they will be available as reproductions again, same source I used, but getting an actual availability date might be a challenge.

I wasn't pointing a finger at you, in case it appeared that way. I was more stunned by the final price. I figure there has to be more nuts out there like these people that will pay this much.

MEK, no offense taken, just responding with realistic facts. When we firsts tarted selling them originals were bringing $3-$400.00 a set, we set the price at $199.00 figuring the price was fair (and our reproductions were VERY accurate) of course there were those who still complained about the price and put off buying them when they were readily available for several years. I drug the last dozen sets I had to several shows the past few years and rarely sold any....Go figure :dunno:

I know that these from Goodmark are not the exact braces that we are trying to find, but if anybody has a set to compare measurements maybe these can be used as a starting base.

I mean if they are correct flange bend maybe metal can be added to these to elongate them to match up.
