Challenger Emblems - Red?
« on: December 06, 2007 - 11:15:15 AM »
Just looking for a few last pieces before I start the work (body and paint) on the 73 Chally.  I want to accent the paint scheme with a few tastfully placed emblems in RED.  i.e. the RT emblem.

I wanted to know if they ever made the main Challenger emblem in Red or the Dodge emblem in red.

here is example of regular emblem....would like this in Red with black outline like the RT badge if possible.

Does it exist?

:iagree:  I haven't seen the "Challenger" emblem in red but it would look cool if you car has a modern/custom touch, IMO.

The hood call outs, at least for "340 Four Barrel" look cool red with black outline so the Challenger emblem I think would look cool as well.

Not too hard to do.  I would scuff up the chrome to let the paint adhere better, spray paint gloss black to coat the whole emblem then use a brush for the red.  Get the brightest red without going flourescent  :2cents:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
