Reintro and pics
« on: December 07, 2007 - 11:56:02 AM »
Hi,
Since my post got deleted, I figured I repost and add a couple pics. My name is Anthony and I am 21 years old. I drive a 73 dodge challenger daily. It is a 324 (318 block) topped off with edelbrock Performer RPM heads and the Pro Flo Fuel injection system. Here are some pics of the system. Yes the air filter is on the small side, but it is what fit under the hood and did not get in the way of the throttle.

Oh, yeah, welcome again!

Now I remember, 318FI, thanks for the pics!  Actually if you have "318FI" in your name that would really make you stand out.  Very unique combo!

Hi Anthony,
Thanks for the pics.  I always wondered what the Edelbrock EFI would look like on a smallblock.  Did you have any problems fitting the distributor?  It looks like it is against the firewall.

No, did not have any problem putting it in.

I not sure. I have got around to calculating it, but I will post once I find out. The mpg is better than before though. The system runs really well. I think it is worth the money. Before the car was very unreliable. Some times it would not start, stall when driving and then not want to start after that. Once I got the fuel injection all those problems were gone. Oh, I got the aluminum edelbrock heads too. So those probably cooled the engine down some. Since I drive this car almost everyday the fuel injection really helps out.
