This sounds like a solution to the current problem.
Maybe it can be incorporated into the Additional options feature? I have this option on another site to post this way built in. Keeps it simple for us that aren't so comp savvy.

Tom, It's VERY easy.
#1) click where the arrow is to browse where the pics you want to upload are.
#2) left click your mouse inside the circle once.
#3) right click inside the box that is now blue, and select copy.
#4) right click again inside the box when you post, and that's it.
Once you use it once, or twice, it could not be easier.
