Going 40-50 miles offshore till you hit the temp break, The water turns a deep colbalt blue. Hit a boil and have triples quads and fivers all on at once. Ripping line off the reel so hard it sounds like its ready to explode. Coming home with sore arms and a huge smile of an awesome day.

I used to ride dirt bikes,had a couple KX250`s and a CanAm 500 but had to stop due to my back surgery.Also used to snowboard which my doc has OKed me to due again(carefully) so I might pick it up again this year after 3-4 years off but still a little nervous about another back injury.    Love to ride my KZ1000 when the wethers good and I`m working on a `72 DT250 Yamaha on/off road bike that I can cruise around town on and hit some dirt roads or explore some easy trails.My other hobby is collecting/biulding any toy cars,mainly slot cars as I have a pretty good collection of Aurora and A/FX cars along with tons of track and accesories.I`ve been trying to biuld a 4'x12' 4 lane Nascar figure eight banked layout but haven`t done much on it lately,too busy with the real cars.i have a lot of half or unbiult 1/24 models kicking around I`ll get to someday also.

I spend most of my spare time painting my house...152 hours of labor and I'm not quite finished with the shutters yet. The details take a LONG time.

Here's the last one I had, a 92 Wrangler with custom paint, 32x10.5s and 2.5 inch lift.  It was very pretty, but one of the worst vehicle I've ever owned for reliability. The guy who owned it before me lived about 2 miles from his job, and loved to mess with the Jeep, so (as far as I can tell) he just snugged every fastener and never really tightened anything.  I had a brake caliper fall off, then a mirror, then one side of the front bumper, and finally a wheel (on the highway, luckily it was a rear wheel) before I went out with all of my tools and a torque wrench and tightened everything.

My biggest hobby of all is spending time with my dogs.  My youngest dog, the Malamute, enjoys when I teach her new tricks.  She is a very smart girl and loves a challenge.  I also try to do all I can to help with Rescue and shelters, when time allows.  I sometimes do home checks for Akita rescue, to help ensure the dogs are going to the proper home before they are adopted out.

I am in the market for an older Jeep CJ.  I have been looking for one that doesn't need too much body work, but haven't found the right one just yet.  I want to put a lift on it with some nice fat meaty tires, and try my best to give it a decent paint job on my own (1st time for everything, lol).  My Malamute, of course, will just love getting seatbelted in the front seat, doggie goggles on, crusin around town with the top off.

I also like Astronomy and hard rock Geology.
I am really into securities/investing and spend most of my spare time these days researching companies trading on stock exchanges.
Also spend alot of time raising cash for BC research.
Basically, a science nerd here. The cc-com members have some really cool hobbies!

Basically, I like to fix up stuff.  Cars mostly - Especially Mopars, but Corvettes, GTOs, and Chevelles also.  We do alot of remodeling.  There isn't too much home repair stuff I can't do.  It may not always be the fastest job, but it generally turns out well.  It seems like there is less and less time to do anything hobby related lately.

Never enough time to do hobbies as much as I want to but I like to do model cars.  Can be tedious at times but I can't have the real thing so models are second best.

Snooker (only play pool at pubs, it's boring)
Golf (I enjoy the odd game)

Use to surf but gave that up for Mopars & booze, and, those are my other two hobbies.
