Why a 4 sale post for a first post?    Nice car and not a bad price but no pics.  You should introduce yourself to us before becoming a salesman and not a participating member.   This is our club and we are proud of it. You just cruising through hopin g to get cash and run?  Dont be offended, it's just many join up for the want adds and not to participate or share some experience. It gets old

I dont see anything wrong with his first post being a for sale ad.  Id rather see this listing here, than ebay....just my 2cents.  99% of the time, i just troll this site, to read what others are doing/saying/selling.  There are all kinds of members and non members.  Some like to post , some like to read, or do both.  Give the guy a break is all im saying :D

I dont think you have been here long enough to see what im saying either.  But a newby should introduce themselves just for the getting to know you post.   And I dont mean to come down hard on anyone.   It would be nice to see a picture of this trip black cuda.   Just stop by and say hello first.

Well if you had a name on here before, then you must not of posted much then either, or you would of went and introduced yourself.  And I dont even know where you're coming from with the usa/ussr crap.  There's been enough mis spoken intentions on this board lately.  Got a few grand in parts I can steal from you?  It happens once in a while with strangers.  Just trying to watch who does what in here. Many people here go out of there way here to help out members and their projects.  It's a close knit club here. And dozens of newbies come and go, some take when they go. Not trying to be hard on you, just protective. You may like that to one day if you stick around long enough.  I noticed you didnt even put in your location.  Helps when you sell parts and stuff. I noticed your sign on is the car your selling. Got any other cars?  Post some pics!!!!!

U.S.S.R.

Isn't that were the Dolph Lundgrin was from in Rocky 4?

Their point is this:
Members have been scammed before, by new members who fly in, sell stuff, don't deliver, and bail.
First post being a sales post, with no pictures, no location, does not add credibility to your ad, especially in internet dealings.

19743604speed, I want to say I am sorry about coming on a little strong on you.  I am like a big brother on this site and I guess I am a little harder on new people then I should be. There are lots of good people here and I hope you turn out to be one of them as well....Again,   I'm sorry....

Now go post in the newby section, show us your cars and tell us about you a little bit.  Also, I cant spell that in Russian, but if you are russian, you are welcome here too

Yea, I think its a bit much in jumping in and complaining about a newbie selling his car.  Doesnt matter to me if he has never made a post.  That being said, anytime I purchase anything much less a car I will look over the situation, ask plenty of questions, take pics, do my background research.   I wouldnt care if it were a member with 12,000 posts in here.  Life is buyer beware, and business is business.   One red flag that goes off however is his description that contradicts itself.   A car that is solid ISNT a car that needs quarters.   This car isnt solid, far from being so.   Its one of the things that scares him or a potential buyer.   I dont think it is anyones place to jump into the face of a newbie who wants to sell his car here.  Yes probably will be the first and last time we hear from him, but if you were trying to sell your Mopar wouldnt you try here, Moparts and Ebay first??    Signed    Boris Razhinzewishski  Rusky.............he he he he
