The Project: Completely Restore a 1969 Charger with a budget of $10k (I'm getting the cash around Spring 08 so the car is gonna sit for awhile in the garage)

The Goal: Have the car completely done by the time I'm 17
Basic Info: I'm attempting to restore my '69 Charger. I want it hopefully done in 9 years. I got it in '98 from my dad but he no longer lives with us so I am doing the car by myself with my mom's financal support. I will be doing dissassembly and reassembly. The car was found in 1998 in Richmond BC and was bought for $400.
The Car: Originally a 318 XP Charger. Came original in T5 Copper with black interior. The seats in the car are rare. They are vinyl with cloth inserts. The car also has a buddy seat. The car has alot of rust. The rusty parts include the quarter panels, rear valance, left frame rails, torsion bar crossmember, front floor pans, trunk extensions and the rear crossmember. The car is basically all complete except for a few pieces of chrome, a few interior pieces, the windshield and a few misc other body pieces. The car now has a 383 Magnum from a '68 with a 727 torqueflite auto on the column. It also has the original 8 1/4 rear end. I'm gonna run that for now until I can get a 8 3/4.
The Plan: My plan for it includes this: Metalic silver paint with a black R/T stripe. Keep the original interior in it. Billet Specialites Vintage Magnum 500 wheels. Replace all rusty sheetmetal with new re-pro stuff. New fuel tank and lies. New wiring harnesses. New suspension components. Possibly a front disc brake kit for it. Basically, it'll be between a daily driver and a show car. It will deffintley not be a Barrett Jackson quality resto due to my budget of $10k.
