Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would have higher expectations for my $40k. However, that car was run thru Ebay previously and it did break $40k. Although it it looks like it was mostly manipulated by one particular single-feedback bidder, there was one other bidder with a high feedback score that had bid $40k. Somebody liked it a lot.

Just noticed that the original ad has it listed with a V in the vin tag as well.  He changed that in the second ad but not in the title.  This guy doesn't know the vin?

I like it but you guys saw my `69 so you know I like the old school stuff! I e-mailed the seller and asked which is it, a V or U code.

His response to my question-
"It was a error it does have a six pack original put in over 20 years ago . The owners Dad thought it was V but its a U as per the BUILD SHEET which I have so this car is a GREAT DEAL 1OF 1 YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER THIS CONDITION OR THAT COLOR ANYWHERE"
Of course the ad still reads the same.  :villagers:

If this is what turns you on then it might be worth 40K to you. But as a #'s original car it is a very good starting platform to build from, but not worth more then mid 20's.

just my 2 cents
