A-body springs, Question about hangers
« on: December 13, 2007 - 04:23:45 PM »
Im making my plans and creating some ideas and I crushed to spring hanger problem.

I was thinking combo like this to my challenger:

B-body rear -67
A-body super stock springs
10" wheels with 5bs

Spring hangers and shackles 3/4, but to wich body should i get these, or is it allways for a-body because I have a-body springs?
 ???

If your using super stock springs in a B or E body, then you need special super stock spring hangers, which are two inches longer than standard B/E body hangers. Shackles are the same regardlesss. If your using super stock springs in an A body, no changes are required at either end.. Unless your using a special relocation kit to move hte springs inboard, you need to tell them what body style you are installing the springs into and they will give you the correct hangers and shackles.
