    DODGE emblem on 71 Challenger trunk lids??

    can anyone confirm the "myth" that the same grille emblem was used on the lower right corner of trunk lids? i see people with and without, i am currently without.

    I doubt it. There is one right between the lights. One on the decklid would seem redundant.

    i mean, im with you... i dont remember seeing holes for an emblem on my wrecked lid. but it says Challenger in the center, so maybe some did have dodge up there...... 72's and up have dodge speeled out on the hood, and challenger in the grille.

    BTW on 72-4 Challey DODGE is on the hood & tail panel Challenger is on the grille & L&R quarters

    My mistake. I thought you meant "Challenger" on the rear decklid.  Are the decklid "DODGE" emblems reproduced?

    My DODGE emblem is also gone and i see marks where it should sit on the trunklid .
    Bought one from ebay but it was to big :pullinghair: Hope they reproduce them.

    D A M N!! that second link to hamtramck shows it as a stick on! i guess i need to add that to the list, anyone know where you get these? i always assumed it was the same as the 71 grille emblem

    The Challenger stick on trunk lid emblems are for 1970.

    The Dodge stick on emblems are for 1971.
