keep the rallye's? or go dogdish?
« on: December 15, 2007 - 11:35:41 AM »
Ive toyed with the idea of changing to steel rims with dog dish hubcaps, but my car has alot of chrome from the factory (stock was the challenger hubcaps) so, i did a crude paint chop on the wheels to get an idea of it. if anyone wants to take the time to play with it further, by all means...

take a vote!!  :feedback:

ok heres pics.... i was actually just thinking... since im going with steelies for the dart i could always have a set to switch on but the back will eventually be mini-tubbed in the dart so once its on the road i couldnt switch.

i dont have any steelies yet, so i wouldnt mind seeing what you all think..  :cooldancing:

I would paint the steel wheels body color if I were going to run dog dish hubcaps.

Dog dish looks mean, but I think they take away from the looks of the E bodies. Ralleyes are the best choice.  :2cents:

:iagree:  I was thinking the dog dish route and after doing a crude mock up with MS Paint I didn't like it as much for my car.

Dog dishes do make the car look mean though.  Keep both sets, switch them as you please.  I have like 4 sets of rims for my car..... can't make up my mind....  :bricks1:

I think yours would look great in steelies and dog dish caps but paint the steelies body color!

I love dog dish wheels, Madeline will get them but in this case I think the car looks way better with the rallye wheels. It just looks way more classy and just, well, better. The colour and vinyl top suit them to a Tee!  ;) :2cents:

Lovely, lovely, car by the way.

They may look good on your car.   :dunno:  I tried a set of black wheels off my father's Dart and I thought they took away from my Challenger.

I would love to see what they look like with the body color.

 :clapping: Hey Wally,
Have you thought about Body color steelies but in a 17" rim ?  This would look cool :cooldancing:
