You can't do that with the wife... you can only buy for your kids what you want so you can play with it.

When I see a cool toy, I buy it for the kids so I can play too!  :biggrin:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

You might try:

1.  Roses - delivered by Santa (to remind her how much you lover her);

2.  A nice massage/facial/nails package (because you want to pamper her);

3.  A hot "Teddy" outfit (because you think she's sexy).

You won't get in hot water over these (usually)!

Well I gotta thank every one for thier replies.  :wave:  :grinyes: I think I gotta clarify a few things. By appliances I meant like the fancy lighted make-up mirror I got for her! And buy "girlie" stuff I guess you gotta read my post over again. My wife has been in the cosemtics/fragrance business for over 25 years She has been in management for every major product line sold in big department stores (Macy's Marshallfield JCPenny ect) Shes got boxes of the stuff, my mom, sister, nieces are well stocked for years to come! Being at the mall all the time we have clothes /lingere/shoes much of it never worn. She gets all the deals cause she knows all the store managers... this goes for jewery too! So these kind of gifts do not work.... trust me. Nothing makes you feel more rejected than a brand new.. (fill in the blank) Thats been sitting in a drawer for years and after you spent good$$$ and did it with good heart.  :bricks1:

As for fixing up her car... wheels / updated stereo... ah she works at the mall. Auto theft and break ins keeps mall security very busy!! BTW she doesn't use the CD player thats in her car now.  :22yikes:

We were just in Vegas in NOV. And got a big trip planned for MAY. She's already bought (MORE) close for that trip.  :hyper:

She gets Roses on her birthday and our Anniversary... Always! That actually works really well but making that for XMAS too.... I think I'd be pushin' it!  :1zhelp:

As I said shes got friends that own salons/spas so she can go anytime.....  :walkaway:

She likes to read (Got her a bunch of books last year). And likes music, her tastes are a bit different than mine, so we got CD"S up the yingyang!  :scared:

She loves cruzin' in NIKKI.... rght now there's a blizzard goin on here....... :burnout:

She likes oriental stuff... I gotta house full of jars/ bells/ buddas/neddle work alot of stuff packed away cause we have no room (hey my train collection takes up a little space too!)  :grinyes:

Topcat I heed your warning!!  :bigsmile:

Now she does like that new snakeskin VIPER...  :clapping:  :woo:  :woohoo:

I admit it....... I'm screwed  :money:

My 21 year niece asked "Santa" for books, retro CD's and a GPS unit. For the ex-wife I try to think of things she wouldn't buy for herself. She got a box of Lindt chocolates and a bottle of ice wine..."from the kids".
