The back half looks fine, I would be more worried about dragging those pipes on every speed-bump in town.   :bigsmile:

Carl, I though you brought this up before when your "big" friend had to sit in the back.

After I installed my new Mopar performance springs, I was told installed "flat" was the correct handling stance for that spring. In the original Vanishing Point, that's what we saw. That's when we talked here and determined that ESPO+1" was probably the best way to go.  I wasn't going to buy a new set so I still have my 30 year old air shocks installed so that I can adjust it whenever I have a heavy cargo and never have to worry about weight.  Here are the pics of mine with the 275s still on it and some older pics with the 275s on centerlines.  I raise it about 1" and have never hurt the shock crossmember like some users here will suggest. I like the fender lip just above the raised white letters.

 Airshocks will fix your woes for less than $100. Many new cars still use air type struts and shocks for their auto leveling systems. I too like the vey slight body line rake with just a little bit higher in the rear. I also do not like the raised front end look. You can see it on some of other pics where the whole front tire is exposed.  These guys did not adjust according to the manual and just adjusted the torsion bars till their car did not hit their driveway hump.

I'm just saying to add a pair of airshocks and be done with it. You'll be able to adjust for any cargo and set your rake.

Yup, I appreciate & realise this but I'll just go with what the shop thinks is best come time to do it.  :2thumbs:

I do have IAS Edelbrocks, not sure if there "air" or gas.  :cheers:

Carl,  Your gas edelbrocks are nitrogen filled to help keep the bubbles in the oil down.  Air shocks are a name for air adjustable shocks.  There is a common air line between the 2 sides that you fill up with an air compressor to adjust your ride height.  That way, if your "big" friend comes along, you stop at the petrol station to jack up your car so that the driveshaft does hit the tunnel.  After you drop him off, you let a little air out to drop the car back down.

Thanks Robb but I love my current IAS Edelbrock shocks, basically zero travel but yet the ride is perfect, quite an amazing shock. My car doesn't rub now, we shaved around 10mm off the fender lip on the passenger side and it was gone. It was only a very faint sound when turning right hand down corners. This raise in the rear is for looks, not for any "big" people or scrapping lol. Although with the raise will came extra, extra, clearance.
