Thanks for your feedback Cowboy. Yup, she's definitely getting her stance altered.

Hey G-Man, that's about as best as I can do at the very start bud. I could do better but honestly can't be bothered spending an hour doing the final details lol. It was more to show a rough example than a complete factual "after" shot. I want mine liek Jacksboys and Bentpshrods car, or 1" less than bentpshrods car, love that look, nice and light looking.

Having said that, I have some time I can kill right now to have a quick play around..........

Here, this is pretty much the look I want, not the best photo shop but it'll do. Too many people on the street (friends, family, etc) they will not notice until it's pointed out but I will notice and it will add to the cars appearance in my opinion. 3 photos below, 1st is how it sat at the closing stages of restoration (2-1/2 years ago). It's for reference so you can see just how much she has settled. She did sit a little lower, like -1/4" as she had some items placed in the trunk but that was pretty much her stance back then.

The other two are self explanatory, before is 2nd and the last is after. Just covering the very top of the tire, nice rake, looks light and sits well, NO sag. What I'll do is lift the body up tomorrow and find out the exact measurements I want her lifted. Stop at 1", then 1-1/2" etc until I see what I like, mark it down and go from there. The last photo below is there or there abouts what I want. I don't like "wild" 80's style lifts, eg: 4x4. IMO it's a fine line between going to far, but, I'll get her sitting right.

PS: U like the leaning forward look?

Yup, that's called rake my friend. My preference is not too much and definitely not none at all.
It's a fine line in my opinion and tastes between nice and overkill. The photo above "maybe" too much rake.

It's too hard to tell really until it's done and dusted and in front of you, in the flesh. I think I'm going to go for 26" overall sitting height, so, an extra 2" over the height I have now. That will ride right along the top of the tires I have, maybe hide the top of the rear tire by 1 to 1-1/2" max. I think I'd like it ideally to hid the top by no more than 1".

Hey Carl,
I like how the tide is low in both picture looking through the door window.  I held a straight edge across the horizon sea line to see how much difference each one was from the other picture.

:smilielol: You silly plonker!  :roflsmiley: That's the only way I could rake the car, by adjusting the photo angle.
Then I just "shopped" the tires in. You cheeky monkey......

That second picture looks great.  Pretty much exactly what I want too.  I guess I saw so many with air shocks in the old days, that they don't look right without the rake. :ylsuper:

Here's a few more with a little different angle.  I think you should give Madeline a mean stance also

Thanks Bentpshrods, looks great mate. I think I will still go for a "little" lower, 26" just sitting on or covering the very top of the tire. Below is about how I would like it to sit. Still looks snug, not heavy and not sag appearing, can't wait. LOL Don't worry, Madeline will sit the exact same way........  :grinyes:
