greetz from europe
« on: December 17, 2007 - 02:37:12 PM »
hello ,
my name is Bart, 36yrs and I live in the Netherlands.
2 years ago I was able to purchase a 1970 cuda which had been sitting in a garage for almost 10 years doing nothing due to electrical problems. It`s an L.A. built lemon twist car that started life with a 383 but now has a 1970 440 in it. it has a 727 with dana60 rear 4.10 gears.
I just started restoration and last weekend I finished building my rotisserie and there it is...up side down...
just a tiny bit of rust here and there which makes me happy!  Technically it is pretty worn though.
After fixing the problems with the wiring I threw in some fresh oil and fuel and it fired up like it had been used the day before...so I took it out in the sun a few times and now it`s up side down getting pretty again.
since there aren`t too many e-body`s running around in the Netherlands I hope to find some guys with a similar disease here :screwy:

Welcome to the site.   Car looks great and hope to see it as it comes along.  I have had the disease since they came out in 1970 so I have had it a long long time.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development
