Wilwood Brakes HELP!!

Hey guys, well i installed my wilwook 10.75 kit number 140-2726 and it all went on just fine, till i put my wheels on and 

The wheel is hitting the caliper.. whats up with that?  I thought this kit was supposed to work with the stock 15x7 ralley wheels??  has any one else had issues with this?  someone tell me there is an easy fix, I dont want big wheels.

Any room to remove any excess caliper with a grinder??

You could probably install a thin spacer behind each wheel, just thick enough to clear the caliper.

I had the exact same thing happen on a customer car , check the wheel for poor welds it should Just clear

Is the fitment issue just in one spot or all the way around the rim?  If just one spot, like Chryco mentioned, check for poor welds.  My brother's T-Bird had rims that gave me some problems like that.

If the issue is all the way around and they are supposed to work with 15" rims, call Wilwood before doing any grinding to see what they suggest.

thanks guys, these wheels are the original ralleys from 1970. Im thinking maybe just picking up a new set from wheel vintiques.

That could be the issue as that is the time frame when wheels could be had in drum or disc offset. I thought rallyes only came with disc offsets, but if they are original 1970s, I could be wrong.

does anyone have a pic of the wilwoods installed on a car?  I think I may know what is wrong but not sure.

question...  should the calipers be mounted so they sit infront of the rotor to the front of the car or behind the rotor?

ok just following up for future ref.

bought a new set of ralleys from wheel vintiques. they still rub a very little bit but dont catch anymore, i think a quick small grind of the caliper will take care of it.

Spindles are symetrical so they can mount on the front or the back.

Not to hijack, but whats the deal with the bleeders, do they just stay open like that??

they are not open, they are closed. You turn them just like any other bleeder and the valve opens from the inside. they are shaped like a nipple so you can get a hose on it to route the fluid when bleeding.
