Well, I'm officially going  :woo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woo:
I booked a Hotel, and a flight out of Boston to Las Vegas last night.
I'll be arriving in Las Vegas on March 27th, and I'm leaving on April 1st.
(I figured if I'm going to travel all that way, I might as well get in a few extra days to float around, and see whatever)

Got the flights I wanted, and 5 days at the Stratosphere.
I'll book some sort of rental car within the next few days.

I just got done purchasing a weekend admission pass for the Strip, ($15 cheaper if you buy it online  ).
Also bought a ticket for the charity give away car  :jumping:
I always said besides my Challenger, (and 69 Barracuda) my next Mopar, I would want has always been a Duster.
Here's the give away car

I want to thank those who I have been talking to through PM's, and also those here who have helped me out with the questions I had.
You've been a great help, and it is appreciated big time

Thanks 70Cuda for the info on the topless pool at the Stratosphere,
though that had no influence on my decision to stay there  :grinyes: :jumping: :hyper: :swaying: :picture:  :roflsmiley:

You can stay at my townhouse I rented if I stretch this job out till April 1st. The whole downstairs can be yours.  I will be 2.5 hrs away though. They rent cars here like 7o bucks a weekend. I sent you a pm.

You also called tum, tom  :clueless:  :misbehaving:

Thanks again tum for that link.
Some really great info there
By the way, you mentioned you were flying out of Denver, Co.
How far is that time wise to Las Vegas by plane.
I have a connecting flight in Denver on the way there on Thursday morning, so I was just curious.
Thanks again

Hey R/T,
My flight is 1 hour 55 min to Vegas, hopefully you fly Frontier, gotta love the DirectTV service they have in the seats for $5 and if they run late you might get it for free!! It sucks you have full day of travel but get a rental car and do the Hoover dam tour or Red Rock canyon to get away from the money grubbing strip..5 days in Vegas you will be angry and broke, you can pm me for other stuff to do.

OK, sorry for the name screw ups :-)

I am doing a Hoover dam bus tour on Friday and then the show Saturday.  Most if not all tours will pick you up and return you to your hotel as part of the tour too and you can do land, air or water.

I'm actually flying out of Boston on United Airlines.
It's not really a full days travel at all. It's only a 6, and a half hour flight so that's no biggie
I'm a bit concerned, as my plane lands in Denver at 10:35AM, and the flight I have to catch to go to Las Vegas leaves at 11:10 AM  :hyper:
Hopefully my flight will arrive on time.
I have a bad habit of getting lost also, so I hope Denver International isn't to difficult to navigate, or at least I'll might land at a close terminal to my connecting flight  :dunno:
Thanks for the info on the recommended sights to visit
Right now I'm planning to visit Valley of Fire State Park for certain. It looks absolutely beautiful.
Anyone ever been?

And Christ man, what are the chances at the hotel you picked making headlines a few weeks before you go  :22yikes: :scared:
I'm sure all will be well by the time you get there
